Terms &
Conditions
1. All clients must be 25 years
of age on or before the date of hire. Younger
drivers can be quoted for at the discretion of
the underwriters. 2. All clients
must be under 65 years of age on or before the
date of hire. Older drivers can be quoted for at
the discretion of the underwriters.
3. A full UK driving licence must be held.
4. Fully comprehensive insurance must be held on
a UK or European vehicle. A cover note using
‘The Aston Experience’ insurance can be taken
out for an additional cost, this is subject to
terms. 5. Our vehicles may only
be hired for use in the British Isle only,
however, our V12 Vanquish or AMV8 may be hired
for use in certain areas of Europe at the
discretion of the Managing Director and
underwriters. Our breakdown cover is only valid
within the UK; additional European cover is the
responsibility of the client. 6.
A refundable security deposit of £3000 is
required. This may be done with a debit or
credit card with the funds eligible for
clearance during hire period or a cheque payable
to our underwriters. 7. We do not
approve the use of wedding ribbons on our hire
cars. A single white ribbon may be used, but any
resulting paintwork damage will taken out of the
security bond. Under no circumstances are
any decorative items allowed to be adhered to
the paint work surface of the car.
8. In the
event of the car being written off or stolen
full loss of security bond will be enforced. A
full vehicle inspection will be done before
collection and signed by client. A second
vehicle inspection will be done upon the
vehicles return. Any superficial damage
amounting to over £150 will be taken out of the
security deposit, this is all to the discretion
of the Managing Director. 9.
Wheels. Any light kerb damage is charged at £50
per wheel, have rim damage is charged at £100
per wheel. In short ‘stay away from the kerb’.
10. Under no circumstances can our vehicles be
taken onto any time of drag or raceway. Any
damage as a result of racing, dragging etc. or
excessive high speeds will result in full loss
of security deposit PLUS any additional required
repairs. 11. To validate any
booking a deposit of 50% is required. The
remaining balance is required at least 4 weeks
before hire period. Booking deposits are
transferable subject to the car being available
on the new hire date. If the car is available
then no charge is made to change the date. If
you cancel within 4 weeks of your hire the
no-charge policy is at the discretion of the
managing director. 12. Under no
circumstances can charge backs from your credit
card can be issued, by signing our contract you
are giving full consent to pay unless you have
any complaints. 13. Additional
miles over the allocation amount are charged at
£2.00 + VAT per mile
14. Under NO circumstances is
smoking allowed in the vehicle.
15. Due to trailer regulations our cars come
with a low amount of petrol in them, please
ensure you replace what has been used but do not
leave the car with more than ¼ tank on the
collection date. 16. The car
comes with our own breakdown assistance.
17. Children over the age of 5 years may ride in
the front of our vehicles; under no
circumstances are children to ride in the back
of our 2+0 vehicles whilst on hire.
18. ‘Aston Experience’ accepts NO responsibility
for any persons using the vehicle.
19. Soiling of the cars interior beyond repair
will result in full loss of security deposit.
20. The management and underwriters of ‘The
Aston Experience’ reserve the right to refuse or
terminate any hire contract. 21.
Hire of the vehicle my only take place once
these terms and conditions have been read and a
contract signed by the client.
22. Any speeding, parking or driving fines
(patrol or camera) that are incurred during the
hire period are the sole responsibility of the
client with no exceptions. 23.
Payment of any Toll charges or Congestion
charges are the responsibility of the client,
and such fines resulting from non-payment will
be passed back. 24. Client’s
statutory rights are not affected.
25. Now the legal jargon is out of the way,
